Free hour of parking in city garages part of budget

Starting July 1, parking in Greenville’s nine city garages will be free for the first hour, reduced from 75 cents for the first two half hours. That’s one measure of financial relief in the fiscal 2016 budget approved Monday by the Greenville City Council.
